The three shorts I ordered were too big. Returned for exchange for smaller size. Hope these fit better!!!
The splashdown T-shirt is amazing and the design is even cleaner in person than in the picture. I also got the Lifetime hoodie which was so cool and I thought it was even cooler when I noticed the flowers were actually skulls with flower pedals!! The hoodie is so warm and soft I wish it was still winter because I’d wear this hoodie everyday!
Love the fit and feel. These are the fourth or fifth pair of these shorts I have purchased. Had to get the fun zebra print.
Love the zippers on the pockets. I can tell they are a slightly different cut as the older maroon and the lightning shorts had slightly more room in the legs. All were true to recommended size down. I wear 31-32 inch jeans and the 30’s were a form fit and comfortable as well. Great product will be ordering more in the future.
Since I started wearing these my woman has been pulling them off with her teeth.
She loves away the length shows off my thick legs and how the color matches my eyes. Thank you cove I’ll soon be a father .
I’m not a big shorts wearer, I generally tough it out with pants in the warmer weather. I had a trip coming up in heat, humidity, and a lot of walking. I don’t know how I discovered this brand or why I even took a chance but I’m so happy that I did. I was worried that the 5” inseam would be too aggressive and dare I say feminine? The shorts fit great and I never felt uncomfortable looks wise or fit wise. Buy with confidence if you’re on the fence. Side note, I normally wear size 31 and sometimes 32. If you’re in between available sizes, I would definitely go down a size. I went with size 30 and I’m glad I did.
Perfect fitting shorts, comfortable with room. Back pocket an added bonus for you to place key or gels on a long run.

I really like the measured inseam on these shorts I’m a 36 so I swing between L/XL sizes in other shorts based on the brand and it’s always been a crap shoot as to what size to order. These measured inseams from cove fit perfect. I also like that there are no liners in them, the fit is athletic but not constricting even if you have some thigh muscles and the front doesn’t fall super flat on your weiner so your not walking around blessing every body.
I run into this issue often so i wasn’t too hopeful it would be different with these. Great shorts, perfect pockets, good feel to them but the waist is tight. Even completely untied and stretched out, they are tight on the waist and make me feel nauseous. I’m a 34 waist all day but for some reason, all of you shorts makers make tight waisted drawstring shorts. If I go up a size they are giant and defeat the purpose of a 5 inch seam
Short and the look I want. I’ll have to use scissors to try and cut the elastic band without destroying the shorts but still be able to wear them. I’m 5 foot 8, 180 lbs and about 11% body fat, I run into this often and don’t know what to do. Anyhow, cool shorts, thanks for the stickers

Solid shorts. I'm 6' 3" so I wear biker shorts underneath. the 5" shows a lotta leg. but that's what I'm going for. Topo design is subtle but fresh. Got the 3pk. Wear em @ the gym n on the trail.
Mannnnnnn yall thought it was over. If you read the reviews that say "I thought they would be more form fitting", did you consider that people don't need to see form-fitted pretzel sticks?? I'm not saying that you have to be hitting the gym hard for these to look good, or that you should be naturally big in the legs. Although, to those people I would recommend buying these shorts, the fact of the matter is that if you have 2" or even 4" of space between your leg and shorts, rock it. There is nothing wrong with the fit. If you have 2-4" of room and wanted it to be "form-fitting" then hit the gym bud because nobody but you can fill those spaces. I am wearing the maroon shorts as I type this, and I have room between my thigh and shorts. I am not complaining, they are comfortable and not constricting, and don't make me look like Seamus from family guy.
Whatever, do what you want.
Listen. I have two points to make and I don't work for the company (hire me).
1) if you read any review that's not 4 or 5 stars: don't believe it. I ordered cove shorts when I saw the "buy two get one" deal. I now own six pairs. I wear them religiously, different colors for all occasions. They don't necessarily stretch but they are not restricting at all. They are durable shorts, wash easy, and are comfortable as f69k. I wear them to the gym, playing basketball, swimming, and to sleep. No complaints. Everyday shorts that you forget you're wearing.
2) The people who complain about size, I swear you're getting different shorts. I read a review that said the 5.5inch go down to their knees. Either the people writing the review are lying or they are 11 inches tall because no way. All my shorts are 5.5 inseam and go to the same spot on my leg despite some being 32" waist and others 30". On a different note, if you are absolutely jacked and taking steroids, these shorts will not be comfortable. They will make you look swole but will not be comfortable so don't be mad at cove when they don't stretch.
All in all, 10/10 would recommend giving a shot. They don't have strict return policies and if you don't like it send it back. I have had mine for well over a year and nothing is ripping, tearing, or fraying. I am enthusiastic and happy to say cove is a brand I will be steadily purchasing from and also, they send a sticker pack in each order.
(Don't buy one pair, $45 for one is too much, but $90 for 3 is 30$ a pair and way better)
I bought three pairs of shorts and I love them! Great shorts I love the length, quality and fit! You bet I’m going to buy more when they come out with more colors!
