First, let's be clear: these are for swimming, at best. You might see comments about gym shorts, but these are for swimming. Be cautious if you use them for swimming, though, as you will have *no* secrets if these get wet. The do not appear to offer much privacy.
Second, the material feels fragile, like a seam will rip with little stress. The stitching doesn't look very durable. It reminds me of the quality you might find in a Spirit Halloween costume.
Third, they're not flattering in any way. The waist fits fine, but the legs are WAY too wide.
Fourth, be sure you want Cove products, because when you buy these and inevitably end up disappointed, you can only exchange them or take store credit. No refund is offered.

These shorts are very comfortable and lightweight, and the pattern looks fantastic. The material quality is great for $25: the fabric feels light, the seams seem sturdy, and the zippers are surprisingly smooth. They also included a massive pack of stickers, which was a nice bonus.
My critiques are fairly minor. First, the rubber logo patch on the left leg is a little annoying. It’s fairly thick, and because the shorts are so lightweight, the patch is more noticeable than I expected. I would have preferred a fabric patch or no patch at all.
Second, for a 5-inch short, the rise is noticeably higher than I expected. The distance from the crotch seam to the waistband is about 1.5 inches longer than I’d like. If I roll the waistband a bit, the fit is perfect, but then the waistband becomes uncomfortable. That said, I may just be oddly proportioned.
Overall, these are great shorts for the price. I would buy them again.

I bought five pairs of Cove USA chinos, and they've quickly become my favorites.
The fit is perfect, the stretch is excellent, and the pants look great. Deep pockets, a quality zipper, and great color options make them easy to wear every day.
Shipping has also improved a lot. Customer service was exceptional - when a discount code wouldn't apply, they responded almost instantly and refunded the difference. That alone earned my loyalty.
Only two small improvements I'd love to see: a dedicated zipper pocket and pockets that don't crumple after washing.
Overall: Fantastic pants. Highly recommend.

I’m a Jeans guy. I have seen the ads lately and thought the Cove chinos looked nice and comfortable. The stretch in the waist and legs is awesome! They are incredibly comfortable and my wife loves the look. I’m 6’1” 195lbs and got the 34w and 32L(Saw many reviews that suggested to size down on length) perfect fit!!! Could have gone down on waist but I like a hair more room. Will be buying more!!

I own several pairs already and i can’t get enough of them, for a relaxed fit get your size and a more fitted look size down, thats what ive done to expand my look & i just wish they would come out with a jet black in their shorts

5’7 195 pounds and these pants fit perfect! Ordered 30/30 and they fit so relaxed. Do not hesitate to order these. The stretchy waste did it for me. They are by far my most comfortable pair of chino’s. I’m invested in the brand!
